Quick Vanilla Sauce

A sweet sauce that's great on a yellow cake!
Prep Time 15 minutes
Servings: 6
Course: Dessert

Ingredients
  

  • 1 cup brown sugar, packed
  • 3 T flour, white
  • 1 pinch salt
  • 2 T butter
  • 2 T vanilla

Method
 

  1. Add sugar, flour and salt to a medium saucepan.
  2. Add 2 cups super hot water to the saucepan and stir, bring to a boil.
  3. Cook, stirring continuously until sauce becomes thick.
  4. Over sauce has thickened, remove from heat and stir in butter.
  5. Serve hot over cake or cupboards.
